You’re Not a Bad Leader But You Might Be Burned Out
Jun 02, 2025
There’s a quiet shame a lot of women entrepreneurs carry.
We blame ourselves for being tired. For being behind. For not being “better” leaders.
But let me be very clear: you’re not failing. You’re fried.
Burnout doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means your leadership systems are misaligned.
You’re not supposed to run your business like a one-woman show.
If you’re saying “yes” out of guilt, over-explaining your needs, or quietly resenting your calendar, there is no need to push harder.
It's time to shift your leadership identity.
Here is a question you can ask yourself to help you get started.
“What would the future version of me remove from her schedule right now?”
Is this a hard exercise for you? It was for me when I first sat down with it. In fact, I had to ask another question before I answered the one above. It was "what is the future version of me?"
And you know what? That is where I came alive. I realized I could choose to be anything I wanted. And the first question I asked? It became a no brainer for me to answer. The list started flowing.
I want you to know that you are NOT broken. You simply need support and a new strategy.
I help women stop leading from burnout and start leading from alignment. Freeing up their time to be successful and do the things that your heart yearns to do.
